4 Ways to Promote Your Office This Fall
- Halloween Buy Back Program
This one is very popular with our clients. The idea is simple, kids bring their candy in and you buy it from them. Some of our clients offer a dollar a pound. You can then donate the candy to a good charity. For example, Dr. Truong of Viva Family Dentistry sends the candy her office purchases to soldiers overseas as part of Operation Gratitude. But there are also other programs that will accept your candy for similar purposes.
- Be Active in Your Community’s Fall Fest
Many small towns and communities across America will be having fall festivals in the next month or so. We suggest becoming involved. You can volunteer or even operate a booth, giving out toothbrushes, floss, or other items to help encourage people to visit your office in the future.
- Visit Schools
Check out your local school! You can talk to the administration about visiting classes to talk about dentistry, proper brushing and flossing, and other ways to care for your smile. Not sure what to bring with you? Fortunately, the American Dental Association offers resources and materials for educators and dentists to give to kids.
- Offer Discounts or Specials:
Use your blog and social media platforms to advertise new specials. You can offer a discount on tooth whitening, or a special on the first checkup and cleaning to draw in new patients. You can also offer something like our “Have a Cup of Coffee on Us” campaign, in which you encourage people to leave reviews in exchange for a $5 gift card for Starbucks.
