More Ways To Help Houston

Each day, the extent of the devastation inflicted upon Houston and other cities in Texas becomes more apparent. What also becomes more apparent is the generosity and courage people show in the face of such a calamity. From a furniture store owner that turned his showroom into a shelter or a bakery working through the night to make as much as they can to feed people in need before flooding destroyed their business. Many of our clients and friends in the Houston area have lost homes or their practices to the storm and the flooding. However, we’ve also seen clients step up to help however they can.

North Spring Dental

Located in Springfield, Ohio, North Spring Dental is raising funds to help the victims of the storm. Right now, Dr. Ahmed is matching donations raised by their community. In addition, profits from any waterpiks or other dental hygiene products their office sells will be donated to organizations helping people in the Houston area.

iPlay

On Wednesday, iPlay Texas, an indoor play place in the Austin, TX area, announced that 30% of their total sales at their Sugar Land and Austin locations will be donated to the Houston Food Bank. The Houston Food Bank is currently raising funds and accepting donations to ensure people displaced by the flooding have plenty to eat.

Don’t forget, you can donate to the Houston Food Bank, the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, the Food Bank of Corpus Christi, the Texas Diaper Bank, the Houston Humane Society, and you can donate blood to Carter BloodCare.
