Should Your Practice Try An Internal Referral Campaign?

Obtaining new leads and getting appointments from new patients are essential to a dental practice’s growth. In order to help bring in new faces, your team might consider running an internal referral campaign! We’re going to talk about what that means, and also discuss our spring break promotion that many of our clients are taking part in to spread the word about their practice.

A Fun Contest To Encourage Appointments

To start a fun internal referral campaign, have your team members look at the patients they will be seeing and identify family members that may need an appointment as well. For example, a college-aged student that will be coming home for spring or summer break, or a spouse listed as an emergency contact. When the patient comes in, the team member can ask him or her about it and encourage scheduling an appointment. At the end of the month, you look at the team member that has booked the most appointments and offer a prize.

Now, be sure the team member knows the patient well, you wouldn’t want to bring up someone they divorced or lost, but we have seen our clients have great success with this option. People want the best for their loved ones and may be more than willing to remind them to book an appointment with the dentist.

Spring Break Campaign

We’ve also been having success with an external spring break promotion! If you look at the picture on today’s blog, you will see it encourages patients to share your practice’s name on social media. In doing so, they end up introducing you to people in their friend list and hopefully, gaining you a few leads in the process. Feel free to contact us if you want to take part in our spring break campaign!
