Talk To Your Patients About Their Benefits

The end of the year is quickly approaching, which means your appointments are filling up fast. Now more than ever, is when you need to talk to your patients about their dental benefits. Let them know that they can lose any benefits they don’t use, and that they should made an appointment right away! We’re always available to help you with this task.

Don’t Let Them Lose Their Benefits!

When the end of the year comes, dental insurance benefits won’t roll over into 2018. Even if your patients have a flex spending account, they could lose the money they’ve accumulated unless they use it before December 31st.

You should start by making a simple post on your social media accounts. Let them know that you can see them and start a treatment plan before the year end (and before they lose the benefits they’ve accumulated). Also, let them know that as the end of the year draws closer, there will be fewer and fewer available spots. You can also remind patients that have already used their 2017 deductible to take advantage before the clock resets.

Next, blog about this topic! Again, you can share your blog on social media. You can also take time to remind patients that have come in for routine checkups and cleanings. If they require treatment for a cavity or other oral health concern, let them know you can start discussing solutions right away.
